Post-Symposium Activities

Nusa Penida

Kelingking Beach

Kelingking Beach is one of the most famous spots of Nusa Penida, often featured in advertisements for Bali and Indonesia. Its unique rock formations resemble a dinosaur's backbone and are nicknamed T-Rex Bay on Google Maps. From the top of the cliff, visitors may even spot Manta rays.

Tourists flock to the Esplanade for breathtaking views and drone photography. The popularity of Kelingking Beach has contributed significantly to the tourist growth of Nusa Penida island, mainly through social media. Interestingly, "Kelingking" also means pinky finger in Indonesian, but the reason behind it requires a little imagination.

Broken Beach

Broken Beach is an incredible little cove on Nusa Penida island. The highlight of the cove and the reason it is called Broken Beach is due to the archway that wraps around the bay, allowing water to flow in and out from the ocean. It's an effortless spot to visit next to another famous attraction, Angel's Billabong. Broken Beach is known as Pasih Uug in the local language.

Angel's Billabong

Angel's Billabong is another popular attraction on Nusa Penida, with a natural infinity pool framed by rock cliffs and hanging out over the ocean overlooking Manta Point Beach. It's located near Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. With its emerald hues and crystalline waters, the Angel'sAngel's Billabong is the epitome of stunning. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide.

Crystal Bay

Crystal Bay is the name of a secluded cove with a 200-metre stretch of sand on the west coast of Nusa Penida. Despite its isolation, the bay is quite accessible thanks to well-developed roads. Besides its beautiful, palm-fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida's famous snorkeling and dive sites.

The sea is safe to swim in close to the shore and during calmer tides, with crystal-clear waters (hence its name). Divers praise the superb visibility, sometimes down to 30 meters.

Raja Lima

One of the well-known spots in Raja Lima is the tree house. But to reach the tree house requires extra stamina because we have to go down the stairs from a cliff, about 20 meters long, very interesting, isn't it, really a fun adventure, don't worry, even though it's a bit steep.

Diamond Beach

On the island of Nusa Penida, near Bali, lies one of the most beautiful beaches you have ever seen. One that came straight from the postcards. Diamond Beach is an untouched, white-sand, and silky blue water bay on the eastern tip of Nusa Penida.

The view from the top of Diamond Beach is directly from a postcard. A stunning white beach, silky blue water, limestones, and palm trees create a dream destination. Diamond Beach is, without a doubt, one of the things you must do in Bali.

Gili Trawangan

Tour Mandalika Sircuit

In April 2021, Indonesia finished developing a new international circuit in the Mandalika region in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Since then, this enormous circuit has hosted several world-class racing events, including Asia Talent Cup, World Superbike ( WSBK ), and MotoGP.

It is without a doubt that Mandalika, as a destination, also has an exhilarating spectacle to witness. Picture the south coast view with white sand beaches and lush green hills as the background; the perfect image that comes into your head is exactly what you will get when you visit Mandalika.

Suku Sasak

Sasak Ende Village, or Sade Village, was inaugurated as a tourist village in 1999 and is one of the tourist destinations in Lombok that presents unique scenery; in this place, you will find houses with thatch roofs and the nuances of ancient Lombok that are still natural and the people are identical to sarongs.

Snorkeling at Gili Trawangan

Few places in the world have underwater life like Indonesia. You can find anything beneath the sea here: untouched corals, colorful fish, sharks, sea turtles, shipwrecks, and much more.

Snorkeling in Gili Trawangan will let you see all of the above, so if you're here for a holiday, make sure to go snorkeling.

Senggigi

Senggigi is a perfect place to relax. It boasts a series of white sandy beaches and safe swimming areas. The point at central Senggigi has sound waves for surfers. This place has a colorful reef that provides shelter to various marine life and exquisitely shaped coral, making it a perfect place for snorkeling.
